外經貿部12月10日 晚首次在其網站公布“中國加入世界貿易組織法律文件”。
11月11日，外經貿部部長石廣生代表中國政府在中國入世議定書上正式簽字，并向WTO秘書處遞交了由國家主席江澤民簽署的中國加入世界貿易組織批準書。12月11日，我國將正式成為世界貿易組織成員。(記者 張曉松 劉詩平)
